Mansfield Chartered Accountants and Business Advisers McGregors Corporate have appointed Gareth Parkin as an Audit and Accounts Manager.

Gareth qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 2007. For the last ten years he has worked for PKF in Nottingham where he managed a large portfolio of the firm’s audit clients and was highly thought of by his previous employer.

As well as his audit manager role, Gareth will be helping McGregors to improve the audit and accounts preparation planning process for their clients and to identify any tax saving opportunities for them. A key priority will be to ensure the business owner fully understands their management information and are therefore able to use it to make informed decisions about the future growth and development of their business and any subsequent tax planning needs.

Gareth lives with his partner and has a two year old daughter. He is a keen Nottingham Forest supporter and also enjoys playing football on both Saturday afternoon and Sunday mornings.
