Chartered Accountants and Business Advisors McGregors Corporate have announced a new sponsorship deal with Melbourne Rugby Club.
The Club, which was founded in 1984 by Gary Fawcett MBE and a number of other keen amateur rugby enthusiasts, now boasts two men’s XV , u17’s and a Vets team, which play their home fixtures at Cockshut Lane, Melbourne and over 250 children with ages ranging from U6s to U16s who play rugby on a Sunday morning at Chellaston Academy.
The club also has U18, U15 and U13 girls’ teams. This year has been the most successful season to date, with highlights being the U14s winning the NLD 7s, and the U12s becoming NLD champions.
Commenting, Nick Brown, Chairman of Melbourne Rugby Club said, “We currently have over 40 coaches at the club and are delighted that McGregors have provided further financial assistance to help us to continually improve the facilities and coaching we can provide.”
